Overview:

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager or Senior Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to sales growth, foster long-term client relationships, and expand our market presence within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Initially, the role will focus on supporting the existing sales team, with a gradual transition to a business development-oriented position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to design and execute sales strategies for chemical products and services.
  • Identify and engage with new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotech, and related sectors.
  • Manage and grow the existing customer base while expanding the portfolio with new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Proactively seek new leads, converting them into profitable business opportunities aligned with company objectives.
  • Present tailored technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient delivery of client orders.
  • Work as part of a busy technical sales team, contributing to team proficiency and operational success.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within the chemical industry, ideally in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Aptitude for addressing client concerns and crafting innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
